Privacy Policy
GDPR / RGPD · Last updated 1 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data MONKEY WEAVER collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Josué Urízar, Entrepreneur individuel (SIRET 99237067600015), 28 Cam d’André, 64200 Biarritz, France. Contact: hola@monkeyweaver.com
What we collect, and when
- When you book a call. Booking runs through Cal.com. You provide your name, email, and answers to the booking questions (such as your role and funding stage). This creates a calendar event and a video meeting link.
- When you contact us by email or on LinkedIn. We receive whatever you choose to send, including your name, email address and message.
- Technical data. When you visit the site, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. Typography is delivered through Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google to serve the fonts.
We do not run advertising or profiling. We do not sell your data.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To respond to you and arrange a discovery call: performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- To operate and secure the website: our legitimate interest in a functioning, safe site.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Cal.com (scheduling and the video meeting link).
- Vercel (website hosting).
- Google Fonts (font delivery).
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union (for example in the United States). Where that is the case, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and any period required by law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hola@monkeyweaver.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
